From its tower the famous Betanzos Balloon, a hot air balloon without crew that takes off every August 16 in honor to San Roque, the patron saint of the municipality.

We will continue our guided walk through the old town of Betanzos, while we learn interesting facts about its history and marvel at its rich heritage. Did you know that this city is known as the capital of Galician Gothic? We will take a tour of the most outstanding Gothic churches and then we will jump forward in time to see modernist buildings such as the Palco de la Música, the Núñez House and the García Naveira schools.

During the route, we will also meet illustrious characters that have marked the history of Betanzos, such as the nobleman Fernán Pérez de Andrade, one of the most powerful knights of Galicia in the 14th century.
